This legal notice concerns the website mygellies.com, hereinafter the “Site”.

2. Business activity

Gellies is engaged in particular in the design, production, marketing and distribution of products intended for animals.

Gellies products marketed on the Site are complementary feed for animals.

They are not medicines or veterinary medicines and do not replace the advice, prescriptions or treatment of a veterinarian.

Information relating to the characteristics, composition, use, precautions and storage of each product is available on the relevant product pages and on its packaging.

3. Competent authority

To the extent applicable, Gellies’ activities relating to food-chain safety are subject to the supervision of the competent Belgian authority:

Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (AFSCA / FAVV)

4. Online sales

The Site enables, among other things, the online purchase of Gellies products.

Sales made on the Site are subject to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the Return and Refund Policy, the Shipping Policy and, where recurring delivery is subscribed to, the provisions applicable to subscriptions.

Prices, taxes, delivery charges, essential product characteristics and other information necessary for the order are communicated in accordance with applicable law before the sale is concluded.

5. Sales to consumers and professionals

The Site is primarily intended for retail sales.

Nevertheless, a professional may make a purchase on the Site under the conditions set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Veterinarians, pharmacies, distributors, resellers and other professionals wishing to benefit from professional commercial terms or purchase Gellies products as part of a B2B relationship are invited to contact:

Purchasing products on the Site intended for the general public does not grant the purchaser the status of Gellies distributor, authorised reseller, representative or official partner.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and all of its elements are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

This includes in particular:

  • the Gellies trademark;

  • trade names;

  • logos;

  • texts;

  • photographs;

  • videos;

  • illustrations;

  • graphics;

  • packaging;

  • advertising creations;

  • visual elements;

  • the organisation and presentation of the Site;

  • databases;

  • and, more generally, content created or operated by Gellies.

Unless authorised in advance or permitted by law, no reproduction, adaptation, modification, publication, distribution, substantial extraction, exploitation or commercial use of these elements is permitted.

The purchase of a Gellies product does not entail any transfer of intellectual property rights to the purchaser.

7. Third-party trademarks and content

Trademarks, trade names, logos, photographs, software, technologies or other content belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Their presence on the Site does not mean that any ownership right is transferred to Gellies or the user.

8. Information available on the Site

Gellies endeavours to provide information that is as accurate, complete and up to date as reasonably possible.

However, some information may change, including:

  • prices;

  • promotions;

  • availability;

  • delivery methods;

  • estimated delivery times;

  • compositions;

  • non-essential product characteristics;

  • packaging;

  • subscription offers;

  • editorial content.

The contractual information applicable to an order is the information provided to the Customer in connection with that order and in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

9. Information relating to animals and treatments

Information published by Gellies concerning animals, the administration of medicines or the use of its products is provided for information purposes only.

It does not constitute:

  • a veterinary diagnosis;

  • a prescription;

  • individualised medical advice;

  • a change to treatment;

  • a recommendation concerning the dosage of a medicine.

The Customer must always follow the instructions for the medicine concerned and the indications of their veterinarian.

If in doubt about administering a treatment, the animal’s state of health or the compatibility of a medicine with food intake, a veterinarian must be consulted.

10. Liability relating to the Site

Gellies takes reasonable measures to ensure the operation, security and accessibility of the Site.

However, Gellies does not guarantee permanent, uninterrupted availability.

The Site may in particular be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • maintenance operations;

  • updates;

  • technical problems;

  • network incidents;

  • interventions by external service providers;

  • circumstances reasonably beyond Gellies’ control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gellies cannot be held liable for consequences arising exclusively from a temporary unavailability of the Site that is not attributable to it.

Nothing in this legal notice excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

The Site may contain links to websites, platforms or services operated by third parties.

Gellies does not necessarily control these external services.

Unless otherwise required by law, Gellies is not responsible for:

  • their contractual terms;

  • their practices;

  • or their personal-data policy.

The presence of a link does not necessarily constitute a recommendation, approval or partnership with the third party concerned.

This legal notice is primarily intended to identify the publisher of the Site and specify certain rules relating to its use.

Relations with Customers are governed in particular, as applicable, by:
