Is Gellies suitable for all cats?
Gellies was designed to suit as many cats as possible, including picky or wary ones. Its soft texture and palatable taste make acceptance easier in most cases.
That said, as with any food product, every cat is different. Some may need a short adjustment period, and a small minority may still refuse it.
Do I always need to put medication in Gellies?
No 😊
To maintain good acceptance over time, we recommend alternating. Giving Gellies occasionally without medication helps your cat associate it with a treat rather than only with treatment.
Is the product compatible with numerous tablets?
Gellies is compatible with most common medication formats for cats, including tablets, capsules, and powders.
For very large pills, modified-release treatments, or particularly sensitive medications, we recommend asking your veterinarian for advice.
What if my cat refuses to eat Gellies?
In that case, we recommend first offering Gellies on its own, without medication, as a treat.
If your cat has already had negative experiences with medication, a few gentle attempts may be needed. Still, no product can guarantee 100% acceptance for every cat.
How long does Gellies keep after opening?
Thanks to its resealable pouch, Gellies keeps for several months after opening at room temperature, as long as it is stored away from heat and humidity.
For the best quality, we recommend using it within 4 to 6 months after opening.
Which flavors are available?
Gellies comes in two tasty recipes: Chicken & Catnip, suitable for both cats and dogs, and Chicken & Cheddar, designed specifically for dogs.
